We all know people who treat their pets like their kids and there's nothing wrong with dressing them up,
Throwing parties
And keeping them safe
But I treat my kids like pets. I clean up after them
and visit when they're they're locked up.
They often smell like shit, but hate baths.
They chew on furniture
And are kept on a short leash
They're wild beasts who want to play all the time, but always end up fighting because they don't know how to share.
I'm tired of trying to train them. I'll still get them their shots, but I'm leaving them outside to chase squirrels.

It's worse when the dogs drag the children to the stairs. I feel so bad when I trip on them.
ReplyDeleteWell they are just kids so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Now if it was the dog......

Have I not told you before that dogs and cats are easier than children? So what they leave a bone on the stairs from time to time.

I have just finished training my dog on how to fetch, carry, sit, roll over and beg...oh wait...I meant my child.

Oh Joy you know children don't learn as fast as dogs, and they aren't near as cute! On the bright side I do have one son almost potty trained, he is 10 so maybe the others won't be so far behind.

I'm sending mine to obedience school and until then they can sleep in the kennel. It's warm out.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget to put a warm blanket in for them, or some hay!

Ah, they have each other to keep em warm and I gave em the bones from my chicken tonight.
ReplyDeleteWell since they fall into the kid category that is all they deserve.
